Missouri Department of Social Services to Host Town Hall Meeting
“From Medicaid to MO HealthNet”
Dr. Ian McCaslin to Discuss Health Care Homes
St. Louis — The Missouri Department of Social Services’ MO HealthNet Division Director Dr. Ian McCaslin will host two sessions in St. Louis to discuss the transition from Medicaid to MO HealthNet, Missouri's new Medicaid program and the introduction of the health care home. The emphasis of these meetings is to hear the public's input on how the transition to MO HealthNet is progressing, to listen to suggestions on how to further develop MO HealthNet to best suit the participant's needs and to discuss what things the public would like a health care home to do.
“MO HealthNet is an innovative approach to health care, and we are excited about the new direction we are taking with this program,”said Dr. McCaslin. “As we further refine MO HealthNet, we want to learn from the questions, ideas, and recommendations from both MO HealthNet participants and the general public.”
