Department of Social Services Notifies Employees
of Knipp Building Closing

Jefferson City - The Missouri Department of Social Services (DSS) said today that employees who were sent home Monday morning because of concerns with heavy snows on the roofs of their buildings and should not report to work tomorrow.

The department also said that those employees who were deemed to have essential duties and were relocated to another building today should also report to work in that relocated site tomorrow.

Employees should continue to monitor the media late Tuesday for information on whether to report to work Wednesday, or where to report.
